The "Four Pillars"

The Four Pillars at PMA represent the foundations of our teachings, much the same way that the four pillars of a building form the main structure of that building.

Honesty, Courtesy, Respect, and Discipline will be displayed at all times.

General Etiquette

School Rules

  1. Please address all instructors as "Mr.", "Sir", "Ms.", or "Ma'am"
  2. For both your safety and the safety of others - do not wear jewelry in class (Watches, rings, earrings, etc.)
  3. Never chew gum in class
  4. Do not lean on walls or equipment
  5. At the conclusion of the lesson, remain standing at attention until the instructor has left the mat
  6. Always seek permission to enter group classes already in progress
  7. You must cancel a private lesson at least six hours in advance to schedule a make-up lesson
  8. Regular attendance in group classes is required to be eligible for promotion
  9. All sparring must be supervised by an instructor
  10. Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class time to allow you time to get dressed and stretch before class starts
